lkajflkj the sheer amount of effort i'm putting into this

pixar has this thing about referencing itself within its own movies so like. i've been freeze-framing shots for notes and digging around for movie notes

also not... seen here... but i compiled a bunch of common toy story theories/headcanons that i liked to incorporate into this fic as well

writing anime boys kissing is so much easier... all i have to do is, like. watch the series once or twice and i let my memory do the rest

with this im like

wait

does andy's dad have a canon backstory???? does this timeline make sense if there's already a holiday special ???? (pulls up the wiki and cross-references)

anyways rewatching toy story 3 made me think that it was a damn shame that toy story 4 exists, esp since the common sentiment if you were to

marathon both, immediately after the other

is that bonnie broke a promise.

like, she's a Toddler but BOY do people hate on her within the fandom

and all these theories about how andy's dad gave andy woody, that woody is one-of-a-kind, that woody is worth thousands of dollars

on top of how andy clearly struggles to give woody up in the last scene of TS3, and trusts that bonnie will take care of him

but! that's an interesting point of development, right? :^O understanding that the perceived value of a gift doesn't often translate from gifter to giftee -- if at all.

it makes sense that bonnie doesn't value woody because why would she? but, does andy understand this? would he have given woody away if he knew bonnie would lose him?

(uses these questions as the thesis to my fanfic)
