operation #automail update:
the operation was successful and my arms are now (partly) titanium. it still hurts a bit and i still do most things one-handed.
speaking of one-handed: i can now fairly reliably solve my 3-by-3 cube with one hand on about ~6-8 minutes. two-handed my times were ~1-3 minutes.
what's next? learning Haskell? beating Jevil?!? the answer is a clear maybe 😎.
my hand got so much better in the last couple of hours. yesterday around this time is was just miserably wimpering in the hospital bed, thinking i might stay in the hospital for days, barely able to move my digits. now i type 2-handedly almost as fast as before. it still all feels an little tense and uncomfortable, and my thumb is is still pretty limited in it's movement.
ah, it feels so good to get better at things 😊.
