Today, people have to work too hard to find what they want online, sifting through and steering clear of content, clutter and click-bait not worthy of thei

They say: "What data is shared if you enable contextual suggestions?

...When contextual suggestions are enabled, Mozilla receives your search queries. When you see or click on a Firefox Suggest result, Mozilla collects and sends your search queries and the result you click on to our partners through a Mozilla-owned proxy service. The data we share with partners does not include personally identifying information and is only shared when you see or click on a suggestion."

@tchambers That's even worse, honestly. Not only are they putting advertising in front of users, they're engaging in data collection to validate that a unique user clicked on the sponsored link so they get ad revenue. The data they share doesn't include personally identifying information. What about the data they collect? And this happens every time you see an ad, whether you click it or not, which means they're probably building an ad profile around you as a user.
