#sewing friends, do you know any good bralette/bra patterns for big boobs (I'm talking F-H cup sizes)?

This busty femme is frustrated with what's out there ready-to-wear and would like to learn how to make their own.

I'd like to start with something unwired, since I like to wear unwired bras as casual comfy everyday underthings.

@draco I've bookmarked those below following recommendations from folks with bigger cup sizes (I want to try, too).
Sizes for most patterns go at least up to F, but not all

@kikir thank you! I've eyed Emerald Erin's Jordy bralette occasionally, but I'm *just* outside the size range.
@draco did you take a look at Sophie Hines? the Euler bra looks a bit similar to the Jordi bra. Size goes up to 127 cm full bust (not sure if this is more than Jordi). I've made a toile once, support is not bad.
@kikir oh, no, I did not, thanks for the hint!

@kikir well, now that I've looked at the measurements provided...

It is a beautiful bra, and I so want to make it, but I might have to adjust things because my measurements are one size for the full bust and a different one for the underbust.

@draco That's where I got stuck with my toile, too: underbust and straps fit well, but cup is too small. I thought next time I would use the same size for underbust, but go with the bigger cup (or even additionally try a full bust adjustment for the cup).

If you're still looking for bra pattern suggestions, I made a #Porcelynne #Laurel sports bra about 2 years ago for my wife. She likes that design well enough that she's worn a commercial bra only once since.

The only issue I had with the design is that you have to do a bit of fudging if you want to mix & match cup sizes (F on one side, H on the other, for example).

A few notes:

0. Porcelyne has a good YouTube series on making the Laurel (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTFWPyzd_SkSxexZnMjYAnn5aEeEzXzEv)

1. Use the best wide (2.5cm) strap elastic you can get. Don't make narrow straps without first trying wide ones.

2. Use good, soft, even wider (3.5-4 cm) band elastic. My local expert on this says it makes a HUGE difference in comfort, especially if you don't like pressure on your lower rib cage.

3. If you make a second one, it's easy to adjust the strap position in or out a bit in back to put the straps where you want over your shoulders, based on how the first one fits.

4. We ran into one instance in which the band elastic started to twist in its casing. You might want to zig-zag one edge of the elastic to the inside half of the band casing to prevent this.

My wife's not a runner, so I've no clue how good the support is for jogging.

Best of luck if you decide to make this one.

@SilverMoose thank you! And yeah, I have a commercial brand of running bras that I swear by, so I'm covered on that front. They're just not something I'm going to wear for anything except working out.

It's the comfy everyday bras I'm after.
