All of us turned to glance inside, the door was still wide open. And I wondered if the doors to this home were ever closed at all. But pushed those thoughts away, I watched the pup.

His smile was genuine and from his soul. There was nothing fake about this boy. The innocent push he gave Brady at a joke made something shift in me.

I nodded to #Mac. “Yeah... That and it's the only place he feels comfortable to do it. Here at tribal meetings... But even at the bigger town events...” I shook my head.
