just finished delany’s triton (!) 🪐

i haven’t had a full day of reading in quite a while and it was such a nice day for it - i read most of it sitting in sunny grass with tickling friends climbing up me 🐛 🐜

this novel left me with quite a sinking feeling in my stomach (as ultimately this is a story about obsession and longing- which amounts to some pretty heavy reading) but, as ever with delany, it was brilliantly written and i love it all the more for leaving me feeling fucked up
