Every doctor ever: on a scale of 1 to 10, where 0 is (something I can't relate to) and 10 is (something else I can only sorta relate to), how much does it hurt?

Me: lol you think I can reduce my pain into a single dimension without being both absurdly dramatic and dangerously unconcerned haha that's funny.

@emmy I hate this. 0 = no pain, 10 = the worst pain you've ever felt.

My 10 is really high. So if I answer honestly, most pain I'd go to a doctor for is at most a 4. I'd go to the ER for a 5.

If I say 5? "Oh, not that bad, then." *eyeroll*

@prismatica Or, "10 is the worst that you can imagine" ok I suck at imagining pain, your average morning is about a 30, can we please switch to a scale that's actually useful? Like, how about I use these word things I learned about in English class to describe it!
