@cypnk @dildog Not for me; I can simply view this from a Doylist perspective ( https://fanlore.org/wiki/Watsonian_vs._Doylist ) and realize that George Lucas simply sucked at plot holes.

@yuki @cypnk @dildog You also have to remember Revenge of the Jedi was going to be on Kashyyyk, the Ewoks are just anagram Wookiees, and the Wookiees have trade with the Empire as seen in the Holiday Special (which was still canon until the Disneypocalypse).

@yuki @cypnk @dildog There's also the George Lucas produced Ewoks movies, which have some contact with Humans, so the Ewoks aren't just cannibals, it could be the girl's dress.
