Emperor #Aurangzeb ruled for 49 years over a population of 150 million and expanded the #MughalEmpire to it's greatest extent.

Contrary to claims from #Hindutva (#HinduNationalist) circles today, he protected #Hindu temples. He employed more #Hindus in his administration than any prior #Mughal ruler.
