@SlowRain @joaopinheiroHello SlowRain and sorry for taking so long to respond -- this account is not one that I use frequently, so I just found the notification now, and am promptly responding. :)
João had sent me a Direct Message to my main account -- which is now
@rgx .
He told me about your request and I looked around a bit and could not find any instance with a theme close to Medieval History. I did locate a few users who are interested in History and passed the info on to João, who relayed it to you, with a cc here as well.
The German instance João mentioned is the one I have selected as my main home now, as it has some advantages compared to my previous one (which suffers from some fediverse blocking which is damaging for my blog publishing and announcements). I would recommend it, as João said it's open to us English speakers, and has a capable and understanding admin (plus it uses the Glitch-Social variant of Mastodon, allowing some nicer text formatting, etc).
João has mentioned Friendica and says he likes it -- but the address he's using ( @
libranet.de ) seems to be open registrations only at certain times (it's open right now - at
https://libranet.de/register )
https://friendi.ca has information on the Friendica project. If you want to see and give it a try, there's a Try out instance where accounts only last for a week, being auto-deleted after that.
https://tryfriendica.de/ is the place, and I would recommend it. There are other, more permanent instances in case you want a Friendica account for normal use.
Feel free to contact me for any more info, I will be glad to help -- use the
@rgx address for best results. 😃
