The sun began its upward climb a couple of hours later, and he knew the day was his to seize. He had scheduled an hour last night for calendar blocking after all.
His daily motivational tweetstorm was ready by the time he'd weighed the coffee grounds that he would soon drop into his Chemex. As the coffee grounds bloomed, he considered just how sleep-deprived he was. But that was the cost of productivity. Sleeping was only a waste of time.
The tiredness was soon fixed by his strong coffee, the vapours wafting over to his nostrils before he'd even touched the coffee with his lips. Time to get to work!
His phone went off DND and soon, a flurry of notifications poured in.
