So, after my #Copyright #Strike, another friend has gotten one on #YouTube...
For #music...
That he made *himself*...

Just like my strike, YouTube said "they can't determine whether he has any reason to file a dispute"...

Lovely.

@finlaydag33k I do not "pirate" anything for any reason, yet I still get DMCA notices from my ISP. Sometimes it's based on keyword matching, sometimes all the details are left black and I stand accused of using bittorrent.
@ZenCoder Well... this has nothing to do with piracy.
This has to do with the fact that some scumbags copyright striked a friend of mine for using his own music and YouTube being some cunts that don't even want to look into it...
@finlaydag33k I was using piracy to refer to "the unauthorized use or reproduction of another's work." which is what you stand accused of when you get a copyright strike.
@ZenCoder nvm, I interpreted your reply wrong.
You get false DMCA notices even though you never pirate anything.
Thought you means you accused my friend of unauthorized use of another's work.

@finlaydag33k sorry if I was unclear.

I am excessively annoyed when carelessly accused and denied even the ability to register a complaint.

@ZenCoder ye same... I also got copyright striked on a vid and youtube be liek: "yea fuck off you're not worth out time"
