2010: everyone loves captchas, the cute little website thing that gets you to prove you're human by being able to dewarp some text

2020: captchas are now used exclusively to punish people for trying to maintain their privacy, forcing them to work for google without pay for a few minutes before they can use a website

@diodelass my favorite are the captchas that require you to add two one digit numbers together because computers are famously bad at doing simple math problems
