Have you ever wondered how people take images of famous landmarks and you don't see anyone in the image, but when you get there the place is teeming with people?

Here is a shot of the crowded Main Market in Leh, clicked at between 6:00 & 6:30 pm on a crowded day. Multiple HDR images combined to get rid of the people (that sounds so sinister) automagically.

You should try this out when you have a chance. Requires a bit of patience.

@Samyukth wow! So you take the same shot a could of times and it automatically gets rid of people when combined??
@shinjini Not couple. Depends on how crowded the place is, how fast flowing the traffic is and the interval between the shots. But you can combine these in Photoshop using their Flies > Statistics > Median mode. This specific one was a combination of about 45 images shot over an hour.
@Samyukth wow!! That’s a lot of patience. And a lot of shots! But then, getting a shot without people makes it worth it!
@shinjini No pain, no gain. I just plonked my camera, set it to shoot at specific intervals and then ordered a wood fired pizza for dinner.
If only it was so easy to get rid of people in real life;-)
@Samyukth well now, that doesn’t sound too bad!
And if you ever find an easy way to get rid of people IRL lemme know too 😉😂
@shinjini Ha ha. I am looking for it myself 😜
