A question to developing writers.
If you had the opportunity to attend day-long writing workshops, what genres or disciplines would interest you?
(Keep in mind that these are just for a day, which will mean that at beginner level, they can be an introduction to a genre or discipline, or, at intermediate and advanced levels, a focus on a particular aspect of it.)
And what would you pay?
Answer privately, if you prefer. Or email me if you know me.

Do please boost this if you are feeling kind.

Pop-up writing workshops

Hello. This is Peter Griffin. I'm a writer, and a journalist on a sabbatical. If you're coming here via a link someone else sent you, you could check out my LinkedIn page - https://www.linkedin.com/in/zigzackly - or visit my blog - https://zigzackly.blogspot.com - which has links to my work and social media handles on the right. I will validate this form with a posts on my blog and other social media leading to it. Here's what this is about. I'm planning to do a series of single-day workshops on weekends for developing writers, across genres, disciplines and media, for which I will bring in workshop leaders who are pretty damn good in their fields. This form is to figure out what kind of workshops developing writers would most like. Keep in mind that these will be single-day sessions, so at beginner level, they could introduce you to a kind of writing; at intermediate levels they could concentrate on an aspect of that genre for writers with some experience; a masterclass would be only for writers with lots of experience (and will need an even more experience teacher, which will be more expensive). Here are some examples of workshop subjects (off the top of my head; please feel free to suggest other subjects that would interest you in the form below): Short fiction; Poetry, or specific kinds of poetry; An introduction to writing lyrics for non-musicians; Performance poetry, an introduction; Writing for your first stand-up open mic; Narrative non-fiction; Feature writing; Writing for movies or TV; Writing for the stage; Creating graphic stories / comics (for non-artists); Writing SciFi; Collaborative writing; How to pitch to a publisher; Self-publication basics. While I will do these workshops only in Bombay initially, if things work out, I plan to explore doing this in in other places too. So please do fill out the form even if you aren't in Bombay. Your answers will only be seen by me. and I will not use the information you send me for any other purpose except to plan these workshops, and I will not use your contact information except to tell you when I'm ready to roll.
