Given the state of things, the electoral bonds could be used for a MLA+MP auction (IPL like) and then they do not have to attend Parliament. Nothing much happens there anyway and often the mics are off. That way, the voters don't have to process the complicated issue of whom to vote for and can just focus on surviving whatever the government decides they have to go through. Seems like a more realistic "dance of democracy".
If Chanakya niti was essentially VC funding, then this is quite a model. Raise capital in anticipation of not winning, deploy capital to secure win, sideline partnership in between, profit.
Hypothetically, if NDA secures every state and all possible elections (including your housing society one) - what's next from then? What's the plan aside from mandir, NRC and UCC? Those do not quite qualify as the kind of nation building which, say, Sardar did. So, what is next from there?

@sankarshan

Simple. Eradicate Muslims first
Then 'foreign nationals'
Then STs
Then SCs
Then all things non-khaki

Enough on their plate for 100 years!!

@NSure that's probably a 3 year plan. If at all. And do we really think that our neighbours would not be bothered about increasing measures like those? That's hardly grand strategy.

@sankarshan

Well, I'm not the 'grand bjpee', I can't think like they do, so the above is what I feel is the bjpee's grand strategy. Along with stealing all our money...

What do you think is their grand strategy??

@NSure I'm not so sure that I do understand. But, your list and the one @jvivekanand put together are so similar that I chuckled. If the talk of this "forever rule" spanning multiple elections is true - then a ruined economy does not go far. There are enough failed states around us, ruled by strongmen, which are just riddled with ugly aspects of corruption. Also, is that something all of us will agree to for an eternity of selective prosperity?

@sankarshan @jvivekanand

I was only listing out what I'd heard & read.

Yes, it's full of holes, especially part about economic failure, that won't translate into a long rule!

Besides, who in their right mind believes that hinduism can be foisted on India, without global repercussions??

Khaki crooks may be fine at planning, but their collective wisdom is pigeonshit!

I would personally give them as much chance at dominating India, as I would an ice cube thrown into a yagna fire!!

@sankarshan
* Eradicate Muslims.
* Ram Mandir in every apartment
* Ban Valentines Day
* No pants or shirts for womenen legally allowed to tease / molest women (Men will be men)
* If people get agitated by useless things like economy and livelihood, war with Pakistan.

Jai Sri Ram. 🙏

In the long run this is perhaps what Sharad Pawar wanted anyway. Hard to believe that he was unaware of a 25+ contingent splitting away. If Ajit is expelled (has he been?) then he has to create a legacy. Pawar's legacy is inherited by Supriya Sule and she has to figure out whatever it is that politics in India in the future will be. Pawar may be upset now, but it isn't that horrific an end outcome. The Sena though have to figure out where they take Marathi pride in being kicked to the kerb.
The "opposition" parties should stop this death by thousand cuts and prepare for what they would be doing when every single election has just one end outcome. Regardless of what the actual vocal choice was. Until that time, the analysts would write their pieces and the strategies would be all irrelevant.

The fun part is if all this happened with full knowledge and agreement of Sharad Pawar. I've no further idea as to what that means for his legacy and status in national politics.

It seems unbelievable that he did not know about this midnight assignation. And then, what happens when Ajit doesn't like being a junior partner in the government? NCP+Sena+INC = khichdi sarkar while split is legitimate claimant to government formation. At some point this comedy will end, right?
