A Calligraphy artist has trended #MosquesOfIndia at the birdsite, perhaps to alleviate the collective pain on the Babri decision.
Mosques and Temples have dotted our skylines since centuries. We lived together, laughed together, grieved together. Our heritage is one.

I am sharing my contribution to this beautiful Hashtag
#MosquesOfIndia

@orphean_warbler nice capture! U clicked??
@CharismaticSal_
Yes, was there in June this year.
Seems such a long time ago.
@orphean_warbler beautiful...please don't share with asi ..they might dig underneath and reach no logical conclusions which might give some one the power to make an illogical decisions
@orphean_warbler Wow, nice photo. I notice the the mosque is very different from the ones I have seen in Turkey and Iran (and the Netherlands for that matter). I figured all mosques had to use some common blueprint or guidelines. Guess not. Quite refreshing this one…

@orphean_warbler yes, I just saw this trend, and it’s beautiful.

I also saw snake aunty and other RW handles trying to trend Kashi & Mathura and wanting to tear down those mosques to build temples.

I think the β€œmomentum” LK Advani built with his rath yatra for Babri Masjid demolition is now being built by BJP IT cell online. And this is scary.

@shinjini
Am so glad to have a space here , where I can speak freely.
That site is monitored by the govt,.
There can be no disagreement on the fact that, what Advani has sown, we are all reaping. But let's not leave a bitter harvest for the next generation.
@orphean_warbler We can try, but sometimes it feels like our voices are being drowned out. The lines between trolls and ordinary people seems to be blurring - not just online, in real life too.
@shinjini
I know, this is why I dont speak aloud a lot on the birdsite, FB too..
Even among friends most of my religion are either silent approvers or vocal supporters of things happening around us.
Their bigotry is being fed by the regime and the regime knows its how to play the masses and most of the media.

@orphean_warbler That India is more or less gone, the Babri verdict has widened the rift. Even among the non-BJP supporters, there has been a clamp down on Muslim voices, shut up & be grateful is the message I am getting.

Thanks for sharing pictures of the mosques, please put on birdsite.

@SabinaBasha
I know, and I feel Aapa (if I can call you that).
I get called a Pakistani an anti national for my views among my close circles. Have also posted in the birdsite. Same Hashtag
@SabinaBasha
Maybe, just maybe that India can be preserved. Our generation is lost, maybe the next ones, maybe they will read what we are writing what we are sharing and be inspired to not hate.
@orphean_warbler Maybe, we are many who would wish for that. The poison is just too deep, in my opinion, hope there is an antidote
@SabinaBasha
Yes, the poison runs deep.
And spreading thanks to the powers that be, silently encouraged by the regime. Maybe there is no antidote. But am not giving up hope.Wherever my voice gets an ear, I shall speak.
