The authority of the court is a power and can be used for both justice and injustice. In the hands of a fair government, it is the best source of justice and truth, but there is no greater tool for revenge and injustice for oppressive and authoritarian governments.

عدالت کا اختیار ایک طاقت ہے اور وہ انصاف اور نا انصافی، دونوں کے لیے استعمال کی جا سکتی ہے۔ منصف گورنمنٹ کے ہاتھ میں وہ عدل اور حق کا سب سے بہتر ذریعہ ہے لیکن جابر اور مستبد حکومتوں کے لیے اس سے بڑھ کر انتقام اور نا انصافی کا کوئی آلہ بھی نہیں۔ تاریخِ عالم کی سب سے بڑی ناانصافیاں میدانِ جنگ کے بعد عدالت کے ایوانوں ہی میں ہوئی ہیں۔
