What is the optimism quotient (of a better future) of socialists, communists and anarchists? Discuss.
@dearthofsid Society will change either through a conscious effort or by a unconscious rebellion. I personally want to make a conscious effort for society devoid of any social class.
@protyush18 very nice thought but I am not able to quite but the idea of unconscious revolution
@dearthofsid If an unconscious rebellion succeeds it does it just as a reaction to the ruling establishment. After overthrowing it, they don't know what to do with it. For eg : French Revolution overthrew the kings and after few years Napolean became a king. But it also brought change. It started the fall of the royals.
@protyush18 how is french revolution an "unconscious" rebellion?
@dearthofsid Things are really getting out of my league. 😅 But may be because they didn't analyze the fact that why the causes of the revolution or the philosophy that gave the ideological backing of the revolution was appearing at that point of time.
@protyush18 @dearthofsid Being a fellow half informed noob, i think what you are trying to say is that french revolution was a product of the dire conditions at that time. In the current times, such a situation has not arisen and conscious effort must be put in to move society towards a classless state
@vikatakavi @dearthofsid No. I am saying the intellectual class didn't understand why the philosophy that was backing the French revolution was being formed at that point of time. They had no understanding of the laws which the human history follows.
@protyush18 @dearthofsid sorry to club you with me
We have to see what sid says
