The update has been put on hold after a fingerprint bug was discovered in the stable update. If you have not updated already, then you can wait till OnePlus releases a new update.

@claudiom What exactly do they mean about a "fingerprint bug"?

I don't see any details (or a link to read more) and haven't heard (or experienced) a bug related to fingerprints on Android 10 on my OnePlus 6T. 🤷‍♂️

(Meanwhile, my girlfriend still hasn't gotten the update, so it does seem paused if you and her haven't gotten it yet. Either that, or it's a very slow rollout.)
