How many of you haven’t posted in bird site at all since yesterday? Are you happy you are going back today? How has your experience been?
I haven’t, My experience with our people & help I received from mastodon community for Newbie like us has been very pleasant. It definitely felt like users matter here. In bird app it’s like nobody cares, I like the community so far and I will continue using this app and posting exclusive content here while also using there. I miss QT function & bookmarks
I hv completely stayed off BirdShite since yday. I might've complained abt d eerie quiet here early on bt I'm loving it now 💗
Pros:
1. Far more intimate
2. Non-toxic (unless u happen to be @Deepsealioness n hv trolls baying for ur blood already 😅)
3. The freedom from d numbers game (likes, RTs, impressions etc) n silly BirdShite algorithms dat can arbitraryly boost/throttle ur reach 💪
Cons:
1. Bookmarks missing
2. Latest news/trends are tougher to track here 😒
