How many of you haven’t posted in bird site at all since yesterday? Are you happy you are going back today? How has your experience been?

I haven’t, My experience with our people & help I received from mastodon community for Newbie like us has been very pleasant. It definitely felt like users matter here. In bird app it’s like nobody cares, I like the community so far and I will continue using this app and posting exclusive content here while also using there. I miss QT function & bookmarks

@Deepsealioness I just need 100% affirmation that this site is static and will be firmly rooted. Right now, though experience on Mastodon has been great, there have been conflicting views, mostly because it's very tech oriented here. Their application info and instruction lingo is bit tough for non techies to understand.

@Deepsealioness That's the thing. So many instances, and admins. How does one choose? Also move from one instance to another collectively? And how does an instance ensure that it will stay for a long haul coz there have been instances that have closed shop. Users lose all their toots then.
