@sozialwelten I think the decline in RSS interest/usage is in part because people who are new to the internet have never even heard of it. Why search for what RSS is if you never see the term anywhere? For example there is an RSS feed for every soundcloud user but it's hard to, if you even can, find it on their page. I'd imagine there are probably popular podcasters that don't even know about RSS as an option. I use a podcast app that updates and downloads each show via RSS and I can't imagine following anything without it. If I had a show switch to spotify only I would probably just stop listening. I'd much rather see podcasts go to activitypub from RSS than spotify.

@sozialwelten Completely agree. #RSS is dying and hope there is a revival of podcasting via Fediverse platform.
