Everything just works I don't need to maintain anything just do package updates occasionally, I want something to break so I can get into the system logs and config files to fix it. Just so I have something to do I have a spare laptop which I use to distro hop
@keefo
It really is. If you're looking for cool things to do though, there's a lot of great, arguably much more interesting projects that don't have the same resources as Linux development. They could really use more people testing and letting them know what issues pop up.
@architect sure I have been looking for a way to contribute to a cool project but don't know where to start, there are so many small projects that finding one I want to support is not an easy task
@keefo
Yeah, more cool stuff to work on than there's time for. If you're interested in an OS though, the BSDs, Illumos, 9front, MINIX3, and ReactOS are where I'd recommend starting. Just poking around seeing if you like what they're doing. Then of course there's always new userspace projects popping up.
