early transition a good concealer was the only thing i spent good money on. it really wasnt worth it for me to struggle with using anything else as nothing else covered my heavy blue shadow lol
(1/?)
to start, you ofc wanna wash ur face to make sure u dont trap dirt and other stuff to your skin with the layer of makeup which can lead to acne etc. then u want to use concealer on areas that need it, different colors can even be used underneath a foundation or matching color concealer for heavy shadow color even when fully shaved. otherwise, you just do a thin layer of foundation over the face to give it an even set color and then add blush, eyeshadow, etc.
contouring is how you make attention get drawn to yer bones like ur cheekbones can have a darker 'contour' or makeup foundation line in a darker color along the cheek bone to make it look more pronounced. not always needed and not something everyone will even do.
as for eyeshadow i cant do that at all i am making that my summer goal, to learn eyeshadow because all i care about makeup-wise is eyes now and i wont touch them because of my dinnerplate glasses :3c
I never had any need for makeup, but this thread was fascinating. First, I was heartbroken because as a person raised as a traditional male, there likely isn't any reason you'd have gotten to learn make-up. Then, my heart was lifted because immediately the Internet did what I know the internet is truly good for: Someone else with the same problem heard the plea for help and dove in head first to help.
Thanks for making the internet a good place.
