"Tech for Democracy" .
Over the years several revolutions came up. And now is the time to fight for our data protection. It's high time we have strict laws implemented in the context of Electoral campaign.
.
Democracy is everyone's birth right. No political parties should be profiling us on age, gender, caste, religion, places, region, language, friends, filter bubbles, choices of life and many more ways just to win the elections. .
Google-Amazon-Facebook-Apple-Microsoft
.
These tech gaints are not new to any of us. But its high time we realize they have been violating our fundamental rights. .
Sadest part is they know more about us than our partners, family, relatives and friends. And they are now in a position to influence us to vote to people whom they us to vote. .
Let's us stand together and raise our voice against all these. .
This pic is our team(partial) who put together this event. We had support from many organizations signing our demands which we gave to Election Commission of India. .

Cheers to everyone💐 EC agreed to improve the laws and seeked help for improvements. . "Long live Revolution"

@Sahithi
I don't want to underestimate the importance of this work, but have those that demand for data protection and countering the manipulitaive power the #facebook 's are pushing to, stoped giving support to plattforms that run on the base of surveilience capitalism and joined the fediverse (or anything similar)?

in short:
where can I find and follow those that take part in this initiative?

@paulfree14
You can find people in fsmi.social instance and #tech4democracy hashtag.
@Sahithi
thanks. while sofar no one from my instance is following someone from fsmi.social beside you and the freesoftware initiative, I can see under the hashtag #tech4democracy only you and the freesoftware foundation posting.
