why do anarchists like nietzsche so much? it seems like a lot of his ideas run against basic anarchist principles
@kedamono_dreams it's because he was gay

@jellal @kedamono_dreams
I'm guessing this was said in jest of the title of one of his works, The Gay Science.

However, Nietzsche would be considered an incel by today's standards.

@ExperimentV
he was basically a nu-atheist lmao
@jellal
@ExperimentV @kedamono_dreams absolutely not, I was aiming at the fact that his idea of the ubermensch is just his idea of a powerful top that he's gay for
@jellal
yeah, but isn't the ubermensch an escape from the master/slave thingy that hegel did
@ExperimentV
@kedamono_dreams No idea, never read that dude at all
@kedamono_dreams For what I've seen, Nietzsche for anarchists is like Marx, much of their stuff is kinda shitty, but marks a rupture with old thinkers/ideas and are important mainly for historical purposes.

@kedamono_dreams
He was against anti-semites and conservatives.
He was also against organized religion. To replace god, he suggests people find their own meaning in life. He suggested art as a possiblity to fill in that void of not having a god to provide meaning.

Especially for his time, religion is cited as a reason for laws to be enacted by government.
