alright, let's try this new arch linux thing. i pop the USB disk in the computer, and... i gotta install it myself? i gotta type in a bunch of commands to format my own hard drive and load the components on manually? what is this, the fucking 1980's? alright, so i install my shitty operating system, reboot the computer, and-- uh oh, i missed a step! turns out i need a "boot loader" or some shit. okay, so i do it again, and now what? i just type shit in the terminal all day like a fuckin' neandarthal? no. of course not. you gotta install your desktop environment. by the time you're finished with all this shit, computers probably won't even exist anymore!
