I need more Even-toed #Ungulate friends for #EvenSquad. Don’t get me wrong, I love talking with my #OddSquad about regurgitating and ruminating fermented plant matter from my foregut, but there’s some things you just need even-toes to understand.

So if there are any #pigs #camels #llamas #alpacas #hippos #deer #antelopes #sheep #goats #cattle #okapi or other #giraffes out there looking for friends, boost this or dm me.

@Sapphicgiraffic How do cetaceans fit in?
@lapras I’m glad you asked! You see, modern #cetaceans evolved from #artiodactyla so, while they clearly no longer possess hooves and have all become carnivores, they are still our esteemed cousins and are welcome at all of our meetings. The graphic design team felt that it was important to represent this shared heritage when creating the banner. #EvenSquad
@Sapphicgiraffic Unicorns are the most confusing: you don’t know if any individual unicorn is even or odd toed until you look at the hooves. My rule of flipper is that unicorns with normal horse tails are usually odd-toed and unicorns with an exposed dock on their tail before the long tail hairs are almost all even-toed.
@lapras interesting points. I had actually been thinking recently about hooved cryptids, monsters, and other beings with respect to their membership in the squad but just hadn’t had the chance to talk it out yet. Maybe they’d like to form their own chapter? Idk 🤔
