I don't care about Porn, it's just not my thing. I don't need to care about Porn to see how daft this is.

But I've never liked Tumblr. I don't want to see activitypub tumblr. Couldn't we have activitypub dreamwidth/livejournal instead.

Out of curiousity how hard would it be to get dreamwidth's code to work with activitypub? I mean obviously it's beyond me (not a coder) but is it "Yeah, that's easier than creating a new thing" or "nope, may as well start from scratch it's easier"?

@Shutsumon I think some people may have been working on some macro-blogging AP implementations? I am not sure how they're doing or what they're called.

There's also an AP Facebook equivalent that was being developed, dunno how that's doing either... Aardvark, I think?

@Shutsumon Integrating AP into dreamwidth would be an interesting idea, I don't think it's very feasible though. dreamwidth has absolutely zero framework for transmitting posts via network protocols, the closest it's got is whatever API it uses with crossposters
