I just think it's wild when cis straight white male ex-Christian atheists talk over me, an openly gay Muslim, about religion's treatment of lgbtq people. Especially when they focus on Islamic issues which will literally never affect their western asses.

Like I spent my teens and 20s being anti-religion as a direct result of my treatment as a lesbian in religious spaces. Anyway stop speaking over lgbtq religious people about lgbtq issues in our communities because there is a 10000% chance that we already fucking know what the problems are and also a 10000% chance that we're dealing with those issues every day and many of us are working towards a solution in-group.
