so i'm actually doing inktober this year for once. my personal stylistic limitations:
1. brush or brush pen only. going back to my roots
2. each drawing should be about four inches square
3. no erasing or correcting mistakes. scan at 600dpi and post as-is.
4. follow the inktober prompt list, but just free-associate whatever comes to mind

fun fact, this is based on a blood draw i did earlier this week where they couldn't find a juicy enough vein inside my elbow. it felt Weird

@irisjaycomics WELL! One vial is about 10ml, which makes a rough estimate average of 0.2% of a person's blood. So 10 vials would make about 2% of a person's blood, which goes up to 500 vials to make a full person's blood pile. While I haven't personally had 500 draws, most draws I've had have involved three vials. I've also had at least one blood draw every three months for the last seven years of my life (cont)

@irisjaycomics So three vials taken at four blood draws over seven years is 3x4x7 for 84 vials of blood, but I'd estimate another twelve on top for other occasions bringing the total up to 96 vials.19.2% of my blood total (assuming I have the average amount of blood) has been drawn from my body. With some rough math we're looking at 960ml of blood, which translates to 0.256306 US liquid gallons

@irisjaycomics SO!!! With that in mind, next time you go to the grocery store and pass by the milk aisle be sure to pick up one of those quarts of milk and just hold it in your hand. Think of that, but full of blood.
