Andrew McHargI don't understand why so many devs prefer/are ok with working in the dark.
Working from work today with insufficient light and I feel like I need to go back to sleep or something. 😴
Pants@spacewizards I feel like insanely glossy monitors are mostly to blame here. Good lighting has a profound effect on my mood, but also I'll get bad eyestrain if too much sunlight is bouncing off a glossy display.
@pants True, I think also some offices have trash overhead lighting which I think is why they are off at my work.
One of the many reason open floor plans are kind of garbage. With an office its trivial to get some lamps and create the exact lighting you want.
