@[email protected] I don't think you'd actually /need/ to make any deal with #openMSX if you'd decide to use that as emulator, as it has a fairly permissive #FOSS license. Of course, the included #CBIOS limits you to just ROM cartridges...
Using the NMS8250 likeness however is probably going to bring more difficulties with it. :P
