Tom Dalling@dekkzz78 In theory, Ruby is a general purpose language, and you can use it for anything. In practice, the majority of Ruby developers are Rails developers. I still think it's a great language, but I wish we would branch out more.
@tom_dalling i see Piotr has moved somewhat towards exlir and i see why FP would be a benefit for Ruby. Don't know much about Rails, i'll get to that in a few months as i work my way past 1.9
