@Manuela, It's been a while, but I kept mulling about what I could say to further our discussion. I'm still confused about why anyone would pick Dee Hock as an idol for freeing the people. However, what I found intriguing was the combination of criticizing the present system while aiming to construct a better one, instead of tearing down all systematic approaches. I'd like to suggest Jo Freeman as a much better idol:
