Going to request my hip x-rays from the UK and get my GP here to send me for some new images. It's hurting too much to ignore and I'm really nervous about its condition.

I don't want a replacement yet, if at all.

Eight centimetres sounds enormous for a hole in my femur.

I am really scared.

This is an old x-ray; I can't get access to the new ones, unfortunately. That matrixing in the neck of the femur is the cyst, where some interconnecting bone has regrown. Apparently it looks 'more or less the same'. But it's still fragile.

Damn, eight centimetres isn't much room for error.

@Archantael I hope your next X-rays show good results <3
@dipolecat I didn't get to see them, but I hope things calm down some all the same ;w; Hopefully I can grab a copy when I get to the orthopedic office.

@Archantael *hugs*

Is it something you've had for some time? I hope it's something you can recover from.

@newdarkcloud I've had it since I was seven, at least, but I smashed it once already. It's been really painful again, to the point of making me feel sick. They couldn't find any fractures but I'm just... if it does break, my only option is a total replacement.

@Archantael Damn. That's pretty heavy.

You're a good person and I'm sorry you've been going through that for so long. I hope for the best.

@newdarkcloud Thank you, I do too. I had been complacent over it for a long time and ignored it's presencd. Stands to reason it would come back eventually. I'll do what I can to keep safe and healthy and hope the orthopedic consultants will have some options to talk about.

@Archantael I know what you mean about getting complacent. I just went back to my eye doctor for the first time in 7 years.

And I only went back because I needed new glasses.

I also got my first physical this year. Honestly, I've been neglecting my doctor appointments for far too long.
