I'm looking especially at British TERFs, but also the way they cross pollinate with American Evangelicals. It's basically impossible to talk about this because I've been banned... Iunno, how maany times because I've talked out.
TERFs and SWERFs hate women. Not specific women, just like, women, the idea of women. This is the base of their ideology.
Radical Feminism? Hell yeah. The roots of colonialism, modern racism, homophobia, even classicism, rooted in patriarchal structure? Yeah, that makes sense.
But, TERFs and SWERFs posit, what if women are the actual problem?
Exclusionary radical feminism is just fucking misogyny. It's an excuse to put down women and support patriarchal systems, often violently.
Graham Lineham is going to post a video on Periscope next year where he kicks down the door of a Women's restroom so he can drag a 12 year old out for not having long enough hair and being on a soccer team. He's going to be cheered on for it by a bunch of people, women and men, who are convinced that this is what feminism is.
