1. see something nice when going about your day
2. write about it
3. revel in the fact that we are all just people
4. give emotional support and validation to others who write about that nice thing they saw today
@sargoth however, when you reach the ripe old age of One Thoooousand Followers, you will have discovered, along the way, a brand that is truly and uniquely yours.

@sargoth very true the one thing I’ve learned in my almost year and a half here is how refreshing things can be.
The other place had been a toxic cesspool for years and lost any sort of fun that it used to have.
I’ve learned that making about 300 posts a day and talking about every waking thought I have during the day really isn’t that important here.
That’s kind of refreshing.
@sargoth I feel like if I have something I really want to say, that’s great, if not, no big deal or if I want to say something without offending anyone I can change the setting and put it behind a content warning.
Those are things I never had at the other place.
I’m the type of person who’d be happy if I get just one boost or like from a post. If not, it’s not the end of the world.
I’m a person here, not a product, that’s a welcome change.
@gdsk3k there's less pressure to post post post in order to get anyone to even notice. you can listen for the longest time, and then be heard once you feel like there's something to say. even if it's not the most important thing in the world
it's less effort, and ironically more people
@sargoth also I have Tumblr and Instagram that I’ve been using a lot since I stopped regularly posting to my personal account on the hell site back in January of 2017.
Those have been very relaxing for me also.
@sargoth my guide is:
1. Make jokes :>
2. ???
3. Collect underpants (no I'm kidding, that's Step 1 in action XD )
^,^
