@ownsbones Fair warning! It's not like an explicitly gay couple, there's no declarations of love or kisses or anything, but they definitely have a warm and close dynamic. I haven't read the rest of what has apparently become a trilogy (I read it years ago and apparently the author wrote more) so I don't know if they settle down as a family or not. I just don't want to disappoint you with over-promised gayness
