I am interested in chaordic organizations. Organizations that exist at the edge of chaos and order, that are self-adaptive to change.

I designed a Berlin and San Francisco based program: the Collaboration Incubator. We are experimenting with building a chaordic network based on #socialtechnologies like #dragondreaming, #presencing and #commoning

#socialcoop folks, please join us.

@Manuela, the industry manages to scale by adding management layers. On the other hand, 'natural movements' often end up with a simplistical version, where a single person can easily make a big difference.

We often see a combination. Steve Jobs is an especially nice example because he left, and came back, making it easier to assess the effect of his presence. I guess that's also what happened with Dee Hock.

@RefurioAnachro @Manuela The way of working I connect with Dragon Dreaming is not the answer to all governance questions. But I experienced that it’s a great foundation for developing a culture thar fit’s with dynamic governance structures. When this kind of work is missing, I see processes are less playful and people are more discussing than building upon each other. But some prefer tough discussions. I.e. feminine types tend to value soft and playful ways more.
