This is a great instance for a number of reasons!
One of the things that I really like - which others may find odd - is that sometimes when I am about to log on, nothing is trending. The page is empty except for the words, "Nothing is trending at the moment."
Another is that moderator(s) are conscientious enough to send a warning occasionally about a new follower that might be a little shady.
It is a great little instance! Happy to be welcomed here!

Works similarly to guppe or chirp.social groups: follow the group account to see it boost posts it's mentioned in; if you're a follower, you can also mention it in posts and it will boost them, too.
