I can't stop thinking about this, (Young) #Nier writing his sister, #Yonah's name on the sand as one of his idle animations when he's at the beach, since I first discovered it a while ago.

Funny thing about Nier is, I didn't know going into it (playing #NierReplicant) that his Adult self would have the voice of #YusaKoji, my fav seiyu of all time, and while it's an absolute treat to listen to him in an MC role for the first time - I end up missing so much his Young voice that I've grown attached to, by #OkamotoNobuhiko.

And so I started noticing his voice elsewhere since, including in #HeikeMonogatari - which coincidentally also had the voice of #Kaine, #TanakaAtsuko.

my girlfriend found this, and it's ... indescribable, what this means to me. my Hebrew name is Yonah, bc I felt so drawn to him as a biblical character, and yet I wasn't fully able to put my connection to him into words, until this article
