Extra Footy Trams aren’t needed until Saturday night, but we’re so use to doing them on a Friday, we’re doing them anyway.
On the bright side you’ll be at the MCG extra early, to be able to drape your scarf over a seat to reserve it. You’re welcome. #YarraTrams
Lincraft have announced that after more than 80 years of operations, they are closing their physical stores, while keeping their online business operating. Here at #YarraTrams we think this is a great idea, and after over 140 years of trams in Melbourne, we’ll now go online only.
Throwback Thursday: 1943 a Conductress punches the key in the Bundy clock to show the tram is on time.
This was the responsibility of the Driver, but he was probably busy with other duties, like complaining to other men about how women are slack and ruining the job. #YarraTrams
Tram Cops today are catching up on their quotas after the two months of free travel, having to hold doughnuts in both hands, just to eat through their stockpile.
Passengers are reminded to not take advantage and tickle them, because it makes them do a little pee. #YarraTrams
#YarraTrams would like to remind all passengers, that when using a mobile phone on a tram, make sure it is on speaker, and the volume turned all the way up. We all need to hear both sides of the discussion about your weekend and how dead end your job is, but you like payday.

Extra Footy Trams this weekend for the big Canada vs Bosnia and Herzegovina clash at the Toronto Stadium.

Hang on, we think we looked up the wrong footy fixture. Yep, our bad, this is for some little league local footy comp. No extra trams until we work this out. #YarraTrams

Throwback Thursday: c.1950’s showing the corner of Swanston & Collins Sts looking south.
We really like the markings showing pedestrians to keep left, marked on the ground so it’s easier to see when watching videos on your phone. #YarraTrams
Police are conducting training in Newport today, by exploding old trams with things go boom and leave lots of damage.
Our request for them to do this training on Rt. 82 instead, where we could both benefit by the removal of trams and locals was unfortunately rejected. #YarraTrams
Big 4 Yarra Valley have a couple of trams onsite for accommodation. To ensure they meet the #YarraTrams network standards, the trams are not recommended for people with limited mobility given the number of steps and access to accommodation.
Yesterday we had yet another moron car driver who thought he was a tram. Unless you’re prepared to carry the kind of lowlife scumbags we do, then stay off the tracks. We don’t come into your workplace and stand around the water-cooler talking about mundane stuff. #YarraTrams
