it actually makes no sense to tell an LLM that "this does not work" and try to explain what is wrong. they are not learning, so i need to just tell it what to do :(
#writingCode with #cursor
This is kinda difficult for me because I love programming - it’s a tool I can learn a structured and logical set of control commands to use to create things and do things with immediate feedback
But I’m not all that interested in the underlying mathematics of the computational problems. I love thinking in systems, not specific equations
I’m not very good at visual artistic output though, so design isn’t really the alternative for me
It makes it hard to find a niche within software, because I love writing code, I just much prefer working at the highest possible level of abstraction for any given thing

> Whatever writing is, it dislocates us from the places where we must work to survive. This is the case for writing in all genres, but I’m not sure if it applies to #WritingCode.
>.. I agree with Jaton that computers now do more world-building than books..with the premise of his book.. that we should care about those worlds. I wonder what algorithms would constitute if they came from #Poetry’s #AntiEconomicVisions.

Like Florian Jaton (2022, 2021), I don’t have a lot of time for experiences that can’t be scrapped for parts and exchanged for healthcare benefits and other requisites to bare life. The book is as…
Did some work on Signbrary over the last few days. Added the ability to use websites in the slide deck, which is good for pulling up live information, social media screens, etc.
Over the next day or so I’ll fold in WebM support for video, and that’ll go alongside the already existing MP4 support. #WritingCode #LibraryLife
