This is a most unusual record. Five studio musicians (including saxophonist Jim Horn and a then-unknown guitarist named Glen Campbell) play jazz versions of ten Bob Dylan songs. This LP mostly finds the players sticking fairly close to the melodies (including such tunes as "Blowin' in the Wind," "Hey Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Like a Rolling Stone") in renditions that are generally under three minutes long. It's a very interesting novelty record.

The two of them brought then-drummer Ted Templeman up to the front as co-lead vocalist, along with Dick Scoppettone, and created a soft rock identity for the group, renaming them Harpers Bizarre...songs by Van Dyke Parks ("Come to the Sunshine"), Randy Newman ("Debutante's Ball"), and others.
