Last night was first walk of any decent distance since I injured my right ankle/foot during the #workweekhustle a couple of weeks ago. Only 3 miles with walking socks and boots plus an ankle support. A little pain to start but that soon cleared then a general ache towards the end. Glad I did it and earned myself a takeaway for the trouble.
After the effort I put into the #workweekhustle that subsequently had my right ankle playing up, it's still not great. I've took it easy for the second half of the week and had it strapped up when I had to move. It now feels like it's bruised so maybe this is the effects of whatever I damaged. Another day of rest, that's for sure.

I'm back in work today but have my ankle strapped up for more support. It's not great but I'm taking things slowly. More cold compress and rest tonight.

As expected, I'm slipping down the #workweekhustle top 10 as the week goes on but the others are still going strong.

That's it, my #workweekhustle challenge has unfortunately come to an end. I know, it's supposed to run until Friday but my body doesn't seem to have gotten the memo.

That's another day in the bag. I've done two of the longer walks, one this morning and one tonight. That's bagged me 21,500 steps for the day (39,800 since Monday morning).

I'm aching all over but a hot soak has helped. Not sure if this pace will continue to Friday but we shall see.
