Just a work update that I did another interview this past week. I was burnt out by my previous transition to another campus and back again earlier this year, but these positions so rarely open and are highly competitive, so I applied despite being a bit burnt out and unconfident. This one truly feels like a long-shot. The first interview was Friday. I had the questions emailed to me 24 hours in advance and it helped me a lot to learn more about the position. #WorkUpdate I've had an 'unofficial' offer of work... for the company we are developing the product for as a consultant... on the product, that I've been leading the dev team on. 😂

I need to check if there are any conditions in the contract that would stop me. But once out of contract... I'm a free agent.

The good news about it... is that it's even more part time... for a lot less money obviously. But enough to live on without having to use my savings as a back up and without compromising my quality of life (which is pretty low to be fair, I'm not extravagant at all).

Current employers... have got the message that I'm not going to renew the contract... we hit a brick wall over the details of the offer... and I was pretty blunt about how insulting I felt it was and how it showed what little regard they had for us and the work we've done over the last 6yrs.

We are finally doing the interviews for the 2 positions on my team this week.

We have 9 to do in total over the next 5 days.

It's taken 3 times as long to get here because HR drag their heels. I'm certain that it's to try and get to the end of the financial year to avoid extra expenses.
