Evers puts in veto that raises revenue limits for K-12 schools for next 400 years.
WisGOPs claim this will result in "permanent property tax increases", but that's not true. All that has to be done is to raise state aids by similar % as in 2024, and no property taxes are needed to pay for the rest.

New @WisPolicyForum report has Wisconsin's state + local tax burden at lowest in more than 50 years, and more state tax cuts likely.
With local govts and K-12 schools struggling to make ends meet, and nearly $7 BILLION in the bank, isn't it time for state to help them out?
