LG Unveils New OLED TVs for 2024 with Advanced Features
LG has unveiled its new OLED TVs for 2024, including the LGOLED M4 and G4 models, which feature the new Alpha11 AI processor promising up to 1.7 times faster graphics performance and 1.3 times higher processing power. The new TVs also boast improved AI Super Upscaling, Director's Cut, and better object and color processing. However, the more advanced processor and new OLED panels will only be available in the G4 and M4 models, while the LGC4B4 and 97-inch G4M4 models will have older panels without microlenses. The new TVs also feature wireless transmission of video and audio, up to 4K at 144Hz, and come equipped with up to four HDMI 2.1 ports, compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, Chromecast integrated, AirPlay 2, and Dolby Atmos sound. The new models will run on webOS 24, which promises up to four years of guaranteed updates. LG has not yet announced pricing or availability for the new TVs.
